I know I am in the minority here but I like Underworld’s Ring Road from the latest album.

The first time I heard it, as the song started up I thought “this song is going to be one that hit the skip button for”. The cadence of the vocals was off of the beat. But about a minute into the song, the beat fills in and the cadence matches up - almost like it was intentional and the cadence was matching up with a beat that wasn’t there yet.

The song comes together and is fun. Its one of my favorites from the new album.

When I woke up this morning this song was playing over and over in my head.

You may think it totally random except I heard it about two weeks ago during a Radio Nigel Men at Work block.

Paul Robb has released another album. This one is more contemporary and jazzy than Diabolical but still that distinctive Paul Robb style.

If I had to guess on why he is just now coming out with these I’d say that there were issues with releasing them previously that have been resolved. Diaboloical sounds like mid-to-late 90s influence to me while Vibraslap seems relatively recent. Both albums are really good.
